I've bought many GM vehicles in my life and this has been by far the worst buying experience of all. I still have paper tags on my 2023 GMC Acadia. The sales associate failed to give me paper tags originally which caused traffic tickets and suspicion of stolen plates. I've had to bring it in twice now to service, once for a dead battery and then for a software update which also cost me $211. I just bought this vehicle and an extended warranty. That cost really should be my responsibility to cover. I'm not confident that a thorough inspection of thos vehicle was done at the time of service. After the ticket incident I called to talk with my sales associate to get back the car we traded in. It was within a week. He said he would have his manager call me. That never happened. This last time I called service I was told to take the vehicle to an oriellys or Auto Zone to see if they could fix it for me... I'm not sure why they hat would ever be a response a service person should tell a customer that just bought a vehicle and an extra warranty. I heard really bad things about this dealership and did business there anyway. Guess people were right because the customer service has been lack luster if anything. Still love GM but this dealership needs to make things like this right. I'm a single mom and don't have an extra $211 to spend... especially around Christmas time. That was pretty devastating. Nothing was said when the warranty was bought about anything to do with software updates not being covered. Seems to me like e check engine light on a purchase with paper plates still on the vehicle should be covered for free.

Always excellent service at Gregg Orr Searcy! People are friendly, not pushy, but honest with recommendations. I appreciate when they tell me something can wait, isn't critical, or could be done at home or somewhere else cheaper. It is more like a partnership than a typical customer relationship.
